GRAND NATIONALS INFO - MARCHING BAND PLEASE READ
Don't forget to wish our Mighty Knight Marching Band good luck as they head to Indianapolis on Thursday!
Marching Band Parents, please have your students pack their things in a small suitcase or duffle bag. PLEASE check that they have their marching band shoes, long black socks, under armour AK purple shirt, white gloves (if worn), warm ups, show shirt, color guard costume.
We will be stopping at Virginia Tech to practice. Be sure to pack warm clothes! Hats, gloves, leggings, long sleeve shirts, jackets consider hand warmers. It is going to be cold and we will be outside the whole time (there is no place to go indoors).
We will provide a subway meal at Virginia Tech and Chick-fil-A after practice Friday. We are also providing a meal at Buca De Beppo on Saturday.
Your child will need money for dinner/lunch in route to and from Indianapolis and also dinner/lunch/snacks while in the stadium. There will also be a lot of souvenir booths at the stadium - you may want to bring money for this as well.
If you are attending the performances, please note only clear bags are allowed in the stadium (approx 12" x 12" x 6").
Please remind your child they represent Ardrey Kell, Charlotte and our area. Good behavior is expected.
Thank you to all that have helped make this trip happen! Without your donations, volunteer time and support this trip would not have been possible!
